Naughty Lim Pui En....

Darling, that's your new nickname... How does that sound? U like it? ;) Well, just this morning, mummy was reading some mails from mummy's sec sch frens... Mainly Aunty Xuan, Aunty Kat, Aunty Mel... Well, they were discussing baby names. Aunty Kat's going Paris for her honeymoon and we were saying she can name her kiddo Paris Ong since her bb might be Made in Paris.. While Aunty Lili can name her bb Romeo cos she's going Italy. (Catch: ROMEo)..

Anyway, Aunty Mel asked mummy if you were Made in Singapore? Well, the answer is yes. Fortunately for you, daddy and mummy named you before anyone could suggest Singapore Lim! Or else, not only darling would faint, mummy would too...

So how does your new name come into the picture? Hee hee... Mummy got this inspiration this afternoon while at your grandparents' place...

Here's how it goes...

Grandma was telling mummy that the day before, you were misbehaving quite a bit.. (I suppose that meant my lil' darling was in one of your moods and screaming..) And so she called you "Naughty Girl"... To her surprise, darling started grinning at her! In fact, that happened not only once.. It seems that darling responds better to "Naughty girl" compared to 恩恩! Ermm, darling, you don't seriously think that "Naughty" is your name do you?

And so came about the name "Naughty Lim Rui En"...

Well, still not quite there yet...

Mummy then noticed that darling seemed to have put on quite a bit of weight, AGAIN! Press cheek, chubby. Press chin, chubby. Press arms, chubby. Press tummy, chubby. Press thigh, MOST CHUBBY! Goodness gracious me! My lil' princess has now become My Chubby Princess! And so mummy decided to share with you part of mummy's first name: PUI. Cos that means fat in hokkien.

Replace the 'R' with a 'P' and there you go... "Naughty Lim Pui En" =)

So next time rather than calling darling 恩恩，mummy's gonna call you Pui Pui !Mummy's ex-colleagues used to call me Pui Pui/Ah Pui in short.. But now, I think darling deserves it more cos it suits you to a T!

Hmm.. doesn't that sound endearing? Mummy absolutely loves it! =p
