As mummy's typing, sweetheart is probably asleep at your grandparents' place.. A moment ago, mummy called to find out darling's 'progress'.. Well, grandpa said that our lil' princess has been very well behaved today and was then drinking milk with your eyelids drooping.. Mm, hopefully darling won't give your grandparents a hard time tonight..
Two days ago, daddy and mummy finally got down to getting your footprints! *sweat sweat* That was no mean feat! Cos darling's tiny feet kept moving... It took daddy and mummy several attempts to get it right.. The ink one's done.. but the mould one is still air drying.. Needs about 36-72hrs, according to the instruction sheet..
Although the frame says 'My First Step', unfortunately it's not darling's first.. Cos darling's first few days of life was spent mostly in the ward.. And when darling could finally go home, mummy and daddy were practically in 'exhaustion' mode everyday... Of cos, there's also a tiny wee bit due to laziness.. hee hee... so we never got down to it till now...
Mm... Darling's lil' feet spent most of its time in booties.. So much that mummy hardly had the chance to examine it in detail. (Well, not to mention that you hardly kept still enough for us to have a good look at your beautiful lil' feet! Always kicking about!) And when we took out your booties that day... awww... such pretty lil' tiny feet! Absolutely adorable! =)
Actually, mummy and daddy would love to do a handprint for you. But our lil' darling loves to clench your fist, so that would probably require even more wrestling to get done.. So we decided to give that idea up.
Well, glad that we finally got down to doing the footprint.. Cos judging from your print, wait a few more weeks and it'll probably be too big for that frame! How fast kids grow these days... Or is it just you, my lil' princess?? ;)
