Wife + Mummy + Employee + Student

Wife, mummy, employee... and now, student too. Put them together and you get ME. Yes, your mummy...

Of course, this list is not exhaustive, but merely the 4 main roles that takes up a up a huge chunk of mummy's time and energy...

June 2004, mummy began my role as an employee. Everyday, half of my waking hours were spent playing the role as an employee.. The other half was spent with family and friends.

24th Mar 2007, mummy took on an additional role. That being a wife to your daddy. Moving out of mummy's comfort zone for the past 26 years meant having to do ALL housework on my own now. But thankfully, daddy has always been nice enough to help mummy out with the chores. So it was still fine...

21st June 2008, darling came along... And that's when mummy became promoted to "Mummy" status. Now, that's when mummy's life changed radically.. From someone who suffers from narcolepsy (self-declared), to someone who ends up with less than 4 continuous hrs of sleep per night (and this is an optimistic estimation already!).. Not to mention many other changes that mummy and daddy had to learn to adapt to with the arrival of our lil' princess..



15th June 2008, just before bringing darling out for your vaccinations, mummy received 2 huge boxes of study materials for the masters course that mummy signed up for while expecting you.. And so, mummy has yet another new role to fulfill--student!

16th June 2008, mummy returned to work. And hence, that's the first day mummy became a 4-in-1... Wife + mummy + employee + student = Drop dead mummy.

Go to work-->Off work-->Either visit Darling at grandparents' place/go home to darling and take care of you till sleeping time-->Sneak some time in between to do some chores-->Finally exhaustion takes over and fall flat on the bed in deep slumber... Day in, day out, day in, day out... A week has passed and mummy's absolutely tired.

Going back to work has already compromised mummy's time with you.. Not to mention now that mummy has to start studying as well... Looks like mummy's gotta learn to manage my time better.. Cos mummy don't want to sacrifice my time with you and daddy because of work or studies.

Perfect wife + mummy + employee + student? Well, mummy's not sure mummy will be able to achieve that. But without a doubt, daddy and darling are the most important to mummy. No matter how much it takes, mummy will try my best to be a good wife to daddy and of cos, to be darling's good mummy...

So my precious lil' one, please bear with mummy while mummy's still learning how to be a good mummy cum wife cum employee cum student all at the same time k?
