As usual, my dearest sweetheart has fallen asleep after your 'tea-break'... Well, actually it wasn't quite usual in that it was actually past your feeding time and yet I still had to try all ways and means to wake you up to drink milk.. So unlike the greedy lil' you.. Maybe the crying exhausted you just now...
Today's check-up was a breeze, wasn't it darling? Cos the Dr said, no need to draw blood to check the bilirubin anymore! All she did was press press on your lil' body and she said that your jaundice is only very mild now.. Moreover, last week's bilirubin was already significantly lower than the previous week. So she gave you the all clear! But daddy and mummy will still have to observe you.. Just in case the bilirubin makes a comeback! =)
Even though there were no needle pricks, my lil' sweetheart still cried quite a bit when the Dr 'stripped' you to examine you... Mm, mummy wonder if its becos you knew you were being 'visually molested' by the 2 uncles (medical students) hanging around! Thank goodness it didn't last too long.. The moment mummy wrapped you up, you continued your peaceful sleep almost immediately! =)
Oh, mummy also checked with the Dr regarding your feeding.. She said, for your 'vital stats', you need a min of 70mls during each feed and if you drink more, its a bonus! So my lil' darling, you can continue your big appetite!
Now that you are given the all clear (well, almost..), daddy and mummy are finally slightly more relieved.. For weeks, mummy has been watching my diet carefully.. making sure that your grandparents don't feed mummy any single bit of ginger nor should there be any trace of wine in the food! Now, I think I can finally relax a lil'... just a lil'...

P.S: My lil' sweetie has 'grown up'! You weighed 3.6kg and measured to be 51cm tall!! ;)
