Sunday blues cured by Hello, hello....

Sunday blues, that's what mummy's going through these days.. Cos sunday is the day when daddy and mummy will bring darling over to your grandparents' place... And then we'll have to wait till wed to fetch our lil' princess home again...

Though we're only a few streets away, mummy's missing you a lot.. Even in the few hours before we had to drive you over, mummy already started to feel blue. Everytime mummy looks at you, the urge to NOT send you over gets stronger and stronger...

In the recent weeks, daddy and mummy's precious lil' gem has grown not just taller and fatter, but also prettier and cuter and even more responsive! Everytime daddy and mummy talks to you, darling would either try to 'talk' back or start to kick and thrash about excitedly... And whenever darling 'responds' to us, you never fail to bring a smile onto our faces.. =) But all these happy times together only makes parting even more difficult...

Turning mummy's back on you just now hurt mummy even more than the contraction pains before delivering darling... And imagine having to go through this every week...

During those days when darling's not home, mummy will bug your grandparents by calling up a few times a day to find out how daddy and mummy's princess is doing... Without exception, mummy called up within an hour of reaching home just now... and again about 2 hours later...

Most of the time, your grandparents will just update mummy about darling's 'adventures'.. But just now, granny put darling on the line! Although mummy knows darling won't be able to understand what mummy was rambling (maybe with the exception of your name) on about, but knowing that darling was listening to mummy, mummy was already very very happy.. Then when granny came back on the line, she told mummy that darling was very happy and excitedly kicking away when mummy was talking to you!

My precious lil' one, was it because you were happy to have a new 'toy' to play with? Or was it because darling could recognize mummy's voice?

Of course, mummy chose to believe the latter. =)

Just like on wed night, darling was extremely unhappy and refused to sleep nor be pacified no matter how grandma tried to coax you... But when mummy cuddled you close to me, darling quietened down and fell asleep soon after that. Of cos, it could have been that darling's tired after all the screaming and thus fell asleep soon after mummy picked you up... But again, a part of mummy believes that it was because darling had felt safe and loved in mummy's arms...

Daddy and mummy's lovely lil' princess, we'll love you always... =)
